Restaurant

We serve a seasonal tasting menu inspired by the landscapes, ingredients and traditions of the North East of England, Scotland and the wider northern coastline.

Our cooking follows the rhythm of the seasons, drawing on produce from our garden alongside ingredients sourced from farmers, growers, fishers and artisans whose care and craftsmanship we admire.

Traditional methods of preserving, fermenting, curing and smoking shape our menus, building depth whilst minimising waste. We build our larder through the year with vinegars, kombuchas, misos and infusions, preserving ingredients at their peak, allowing them to continue to shape our cooking long after their season has passed.

Care shapes how we cook. We value every ingredient in its entirety, approaching each decision with thoughtfulness and respect. That same care extends to how we work together as a team and how we welcome every guest.

We believe hospitality should feel generous, unhurried and personal. With one sitting at lunch and dinner, your table is yours for the duration of your visit, allowing your afternoon or evening to unfold at a shared, unhurried pace.
